What is Agentically Digital?
Agentically Digital is a UK-based iOS app studio building honest, human software for mainstream consumers. We create native apps with transparent pricing, privacy-first AI, and no dark patterns. Our studio is founded by Jane McKay, who brings 25 years' industry experience.
How is Agentically Digital related to Forgeyard Digital?
Agentically Digital and Forgeyard Digital are sister studios, both founded by Jane McKay. Agentically focuses on mainstream consumer apps like HaircutMe and GlowAssist. Forgeyard focuses on apps for underserved populations and health-specific communities. Both studios share the same "honest software" ethos and commitment to privacy-first engineering.
What apps are you launching?
We're launching two flagship apps: HaircutMe (AI-powered haircut previews on your own face with pay-as-you-go pricing and no subscription traps) and GlowAssist (skincare and cosmetics tracker with smart depletion predictions). Both are currently in development and will be available soon on the App Store.
Do you use dark patterns or subscription traps?
No. We build honest software. That means transparent pricing, no subscription traps, and clear consent for AI features. For example, HaircutMe uses pay-as-you-go credit packs with a free retry if a generation fails — a direct alternative to the subscription-trap model common in beauty tech.
Do you take client work?
Yes. We offer bespoke iOS app development, product strategy, and consulting for consumer-facing projects. We're UK-based with a single accountable contact (the founder). Get in touch at [email protected] to discuss your project.
How do you use AI?
We use AI responsibly. That means clear user consent before any AI processing, on-device processing where possible (using CoreML for privacy), and no data overreach. AI features are designed to serve the user's goals, not to extract data or manipulate behaviour.
Are you UK-based?
Yes. Agentically Digital is a UK onshore studio. You work directly with the founder, Jane McKay — a single, accountable contact for all projects and communications.
Are HaircutMe and GlowAssist released yet?
