Giving back

The app economy ignores millions of people. We build for them.

Profit funds purpose here. The group sponsors a fully independent studio for underserved communities — and takes on social digital projects for free.

Forgeyard Digital — a studio with one job

We fund and sponsor Forgeyard Digital, an independent app studio set up specifically to build for people mainstream tech ignores: communities whose needs are real but whose markets are too small, too sensitive or too unglamorous for venture-backed software. Forgeyard’s apps get the same senior design and engineering as anything the agency sells — because underserved shouldn’t mean under-built.

CuffLog app icon

CuffLog

For families looking after ageing parents: photograph any BP monitor's reading — even old, unconnected cuffs — and a model deciphers and records it. Trends, honest charts, a GP-ready report. On the App Store.

HRTMe app icon

HRTMe

Private, judgment-free hormone therapy tracking, trusted by thousands of perimenopausal and menopausal women — a community other apps overlook. On the App Store.

Breaket app icon

Breaket

Compassionate, evidence-based support for breaking a vaping habit — progress you can feel, without shame mechanics or streak guilt.

Why it exists

Because good software shouldn’t be a privilege of profitable demographics. Health tools for overlooked conditions, dignity-first design, no ads, no data harvesting — software that treats its users as people to serve, not audiences to sell.

Social digital projects — built for free

Beyond Forgeyard, the agency takes on a small number of social digital projects at no charge: community groups, charities and causes that need real software but could never fund an agency build. Same senior team, same standard, zero invoice. If your project genuinely serves people who are usually ignored, pitch it to us — the worst we can say is “not this quarter”.

Common questions

Do you really build digital projects for free?

Yes — a limited number each year, chosen for impact. Community groups, charities and causes serving overlooked people get the same senior team and the same standard, with no invoice.

What is Forgeyard Digital?

An independent app studio the group funds and sponsors, set up specifically to build apps for underserved communities — its apps include CuffLog, HRTMe and Breaket.

How do I pitch a free social project?

Use the contact page and tell us who the project serves and what difference it would make. Impact on ignored communities is the bar — not size, polish or connections.
